Daniel Colón is an NYC-based visual artist and illustrator. Trained in traditional oil painting his artistic practice includes landscapes and portraiture, storyboard art, book illustration and murals. His projects emphasize observation, interpretation and visual problem solving. Daniel studied painting at The Art Students League and the Maryland Institute College of Art, and art history at Hunter College. He is a recipient of the Xavier Gonzalez and Ethel Edwards Grant and his clients include Penguin USA, National Geographic, Facebook, Viacom and many more. Daniel is currently represented by Boards in Motion.
